Coverage is strong in Chișinău and along the main roads to the wine country. Orheiul Vechi, the cave monastery above the Răut river, has signal in the village, with weaker spots down in the gorge.

Transnistria, the breakaway region on the left bank of the Dniester that includes Tiraspol, is outside the control of the Moldovan government, and the UK Foreign Office advises against all travel there.
