Networks

In each country, Simsima plans connect to local networks. On each plan page, you can see which networks are used.

Regional plans

If you are visiting multiple countries, consider a regional plan:

Europe — Covers 30+ European countries on a single plan

Regional plans are typically more cost-effective than buying separate plans for each country. Browse all plans to compare options.

Coverage type

All Simsima plans provide data-only connectivity. This means:

Included: Mobile internet, messaging apps (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc.), video calls via apps

Not included: Traditional voice calls and SMS via phone number

You can make calls and send messages using apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, Zoom, and others — they all work over data. Use our Data Usage Calculator to estimate how much data you will need.

4G/LTE and 5G

Most plans connect to 4G/LTE networks. In some countries, 5G is available depending on the plan, your device, and local coverage. Plan pages indicate the supported network generation.
