APN Settings Explained
What an APN is, when you need to set one, and the exact path on iPhone and Android.
APN Settings Explained
APN stands for Access Point Name. It tells your device how to reach the internet through the mobile network. Most Simsima eSIMs configure it automatically.
Check first whether you need one at all. Open your eSIM details in your Simsima account or your confirmation email. If no APN is listed, the eSIM configures itself and you should change nothing — entering an APN that is not required will break the connection rather than fix it.

Getting It Wrong
A mistyped APN produces a PDP Authentication Failure or a connection that shows signal but carries no data. Copy the value character by character rather than typing it from memory.
