Check if Your Android Supports eSIM
Android is customised by every manufacturer and often by the carrier that sold the device, so two phones with the same model name can differ on eSIM.
The Quick Test
Samsung Galaxy: Settings > Connections > SIM manager. If you see an option to add an eSIM, the device supports it.
Google Pixel: Settings > Network & internet > SIMs. Look for Download a SIM instead or a + to add one.
Other Android: Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network, and look for any option mentioning eSIM or downloading a SIM.
If no such option exists anywhere in the SIM settings, the device does not support eSIM.
Why a Supposedly Compatible Phone May Not Work
Some regional variants ship without eSIM hardware even when the model is listed as eSIM-capable. Carrier-branded devices sometimes have the feature disabled in firmware.
Before You Buy
Check our compatible devices list, and confirm with the manufacturer if your model is borderline. An eSIM cannot be refunded once installed, so it is worth the two minutes.
