Give each line a clear label so you can tell them apart at a glance.
Rename Your eSIM Line
With two or more lines on one device, default names like Secondary or Travel make it hard to see which is which. Renaming takes fifteen seconds and prevents a class of confusion — particularly working out which line is spending your money.
On iPhone
Naming it after the destination — Japan, Europe — is more useful than naming it Simsima, especially if you carry several plans across a trip.
On Android
Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > select the eSIM > SIM name or the pencil icon.
Samsung: Settings > Connections > SIM manager > select the eSIM > edit the name.
Why Bother
The label is what appears in the status bar, in your data usage breakdown, and in the dialog asking which line to use. A clear name makes checking which line is consuming data immediate rather than a puzzle.
