Samsung Galaxy S22: Cannot Delete an eSIM
Some Galaxy S22 owners cannot remove an eSIM profile, or find that the SIM manager fails to load entirely. This is a known Samsung software fault, not a problem with the eSIM.
First: Update the Software
Settings > Software update > Download and install. Samsung has shipped fixes for this in later updates, and installing them resolves it for most people.
If the SIM Manager Will Not Load
If Deletion Still Fails
Turn the eSIM line off rather than deleting it: Settings > Connections > SIM manager > select the eSIM > toggle it off. An inactive profile consumes no data and does not interfere with your other lines.
Before You Delete Anything
A removed eSIM cannot be reinstalled. Only delete profiles that are expired or fully used. If you are trying to free up space for a new eSIM, remove an expired one rather than the profile you just bought.
