eSIM Connected to the Wrong Network
How to select a supported partner network manually when automatic selection picks badly.
eSIM Connected to the Wrong Network
Your eSIM works through partner networks in each country. If the device attaches to a carrier that is not on the list, you will see signal bars but no usable data — or data that keeps dropping.
Select the Network Manually
iPhone: Settings > Cellular > your Simsima plan > Network Selection > turn Automatic off > pick a network from the list.
Android: Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > your Simsima plan > Network operators > turn off Select automatically > pick from the list.
Samsung: Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network operators > your Simsima plan > choose manually.
The supported networks for your destination are listed on your plan page. Choose one of those.
After Connecting
Once data works, switch Network Selection back to Automatic. Manual selection stops the device from moving to a better network as you travel, and drains battery when the chosen network is weak.
If No Supported Network Appears
You may be outside the coverage area, or in a spot with poor reception for that carrier. Move location and retry. If none of the listed networks appears anywhere, contact us.
