Signal thins on the hillside trails above the lake, inside Tikal National Park beyond the entrance, and on the road from Coban to Lanquin. At Semuc Champey's pools, expect little or no data.

Volcano hikes need the most preparation. Acatenango, Pacaya and Santa Maria have signal in the departure towns and on the lower slopes, and often none near the summit or at the overnight camps facing Fuego. How to install your Guatemala eSIM
