Most Simsima plans are data only. They carry no voice calls and no SMS. This is the single most common misunderstanding in support requests, and it is worth checking before you travel rather than after.
How to Check Your Plan
Open the plan page or your order details and look at the plan type. Data-only plans state so explicitly. Plans that include voice and text say so under their network information, both before and after purchase.
If Your Plan Is Data Only
You can still call and message over the internet:
Receiving SMS Codes From Your Bank
A data-only eSIM cannot receive SMS verification codes. If you rely on them, keep your home SIM active for texts, or switch that account to an authenticator app before you travel. This surprises people at the worst possible moment.
