Modern iPhones use Dual SIM Dual Standby, which keeps your physical SIM or primary eSIM registered for calls while a second eSIM carries data. Most recent Android devices do the same. Older or entry-level devices sometimes allow only one active line, in which case enabling the Simsima eSIM disables your home line.
