Can I Move My eSIM to a New Phone?
No — an installed eSIM is locked to its device. What to do instead.
Can I Move My eSIM to a New Phone?
No. Unlike a physical SIM you can pop out and move, an eSIM profile is downloaded into one device and locked to it. Once installed, it cannot be transferred.
If You Still Have Data Left
Keep using it on the old device. The plan continues to work normally there.
Share it with the new device through a personal hotspot from the old one. This is the practical answer when you have upgraded mid-trip.
If the Old Device Is Lost or Broken
The data cannot be recovered, and the profile cannot be reissued to a new device. Contact us with your order number — depending on how much of the plan was used and what happened, we may be able to help, but we cannot promise it.
Before You Install
Install on the device you will actually travel with. This sounds obvious, but installing on a phone at home to "test it works" and then travelling with another one is a common and unrecoverable mistake.
If you have not yet installed the eSIM, nothing is locked — install it on whichever compatible device you like.
