Steps to resolve connectivity issues with your eSIM.
No Data Connection
If your eSIM is installed but you cannot connect to the internet, work through these steps in order.
Step 1: Check the Basics
Is the eSIM line turned on?
iPhone: Settings > Cellular > Simsima plan > Turn On This Line
Android: Settings > Network > SIMs > Simsima > toggle ON
Is Data Roaming enabled?
iPhone: Settings > Cellular > Simsima plan > Data Roaming > ON
Android: Settings > Network > SIMs > Simsima > Roaming > ON
This is the most common issue — data roaming must be enabled for international eSIMs
Is Simsima set as the data source?
iPhone: Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data > select Simsima
Android: Settings > Network > SIMs > Mobile data > select Simsima
Step 2: Toggle Airplane Mode
1Turn on Airplane Mode
2Wait 10 seconds
3Turn off Airplane Mode
4Wait 30-60 seconds for the network to reconnect
Step 3: Restart Your Device
A full restart resolves most temporary connection issues:
1Power off your device completely
2Wait 15 seconds
3Power back on
4Wait for the device to connect to a network
Step 4: Network Selection
Try manually selecting a network:
iPhone: Settings > Cellular > Simsima plan > Network Selection > toggle off Automatic > choose a network from the list
Android: Settings > Network > SIMs > Simsima > choose network manually
Select one of the partner networks shown on your plan page. Then switch back to Automatic.
Step 5: Check APN Settings
Most eSIMs configure APN (Access Point Name) automatically. If not:
iPhone: Settings > Cellular > Simsima plan > Cellular Data Network
Android: Settings > Network > SIMs > Simsima > Access Point Names
Check your confirmation email for the correct APN settings if needed.
Still No Connection?
