PDP Authentication Failure
This error points at APN settings or an exhausted plan. Check both in this order.
PDP Authentication Failure
This message means your device reached the local network but the network refused to authenticate the eSIM. Two causes account for nearly all cases: a wrong APN, or no data left.
1. Check Your Data Balance First
If the plan is exhausted, the network rejects authentication and this is the error you see. Check remaining data in your Simsima account under My eSIMs. If it is at zero, top up rather than troubleshooting further.
2. Verify the APN
The APN for your plan is shown on your eSIM details page and in your confirmation email. It is usually a single lowercase word, and it must match exactly.
If no APN is listed for your plan, it configures itself and no manual entry is needed.
3. Check the Network
Confirm you are attached to one of the supported networks shown on your plan page. Roaming onto the wrong carrier will fail authentication.
4. Reset Network Settings
Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings, then restart.
This erases saved Wi-Fi passwords and Bluetooth pairings — you will need to reconnect to Wi-Fi afterwards.
