What Happens to Unused Data
Data does not roll over. What you can do before and after expiry.
What Happens to Unused Data
Data can only be used within the validity period of your plan. Unused data does not roll over to a new plan and cannot be refunded once the validity has ended.
Before Expiry
If you still have data and the validity is running out, a top-up extends the plan on the same eSIM rather than issuing a new one — you keep the profile already installed on your device and simply add allowance.
Not every plan is rechargeable. The plan page states whether top-ups are available before you buy.
Using Data Up on Another Device
Your eSIM cannot be moved to a second device, but you can share what remains through a personal hotspot from the device it is installed on.
After Expiry
An expired eSIM cannot be reactivated, and its remaining data is gone. You can safely remove the profile from your device to free a slot — see removing an eSIM.
Buying the Right Size
Our data usage calculator estimates what a trip actually consumes. Buying slightly short and topping up costs less than buying long and losing the surplus.
